Hello

I'm keen to rip flash content from the Tate Gallery's online archive.

Usually with embedded flash (Youtube, etc.) I'd go to the activity pane, locate the relevant file (usually .FLV), give it a click and it would start to download.

This method doesn't work on the Tate Gallery player, however. Any clues on how to crack it?

Example of the site + embedded flash player here:

All the best and Merry Xmas...

Me.

As to your question, if the material is copyrighted, do note that this forum does not allow discussion of illegal activity, including the breaking of encryption (otherwise known as "ripping") for the purposes of stealing such content.

Liquid and computers don't mix. It might seem simple, but we see an incredible amount of people post here about spills. Keep drinks and other liquids away from your expensive electronics!
