I am having a dilemma. I am new to my Mac and I can't figure IMovie out entirely.

Is there any way that you can take the audio that you recorded in IMovie and make that audio into an Mp3? As well, I recorded sound that I didn't want. When I edited the parts I wanted and tried use a method of dragging the audio into Itunes, the whole audio comes with it. It keeps doing that.

Please help!

Proud Mac User. Thanks Dad!

I would export the sound to AIFF, import to iTunes, set that to MP3 for the codec preference and convert the file by highlighting it and chosing convert.

You use the advanced export feature of iMovie. Since you didn't say which version you are using, see my export guide for more detail and adjust appropriately.

When asking questions, post the version of your software. You'll receive better answers.

Please post your results to the thread as it is good feedback.
