Hi Everyone,

I'm going to be getting an HD camcorder for Christmas this year and I was worried about one thing. Does iMovie '08 support HD? Full HD? I want to edit my videos just as I did before with my standard definition camcorder. I am wanting to edit videos at 1920 x 1080.

Will I have to upgrade the software to go with the camcorder?

Thanks,

Scott

Yes you can edit 1080i video in iM08.

You should be aware of the iLife requirements. That page also has a link to tested cameras.

When asking questions, post the version of your software. You'll receive better answers.

Please post your results to the thread as it is good feedback.
