    dont no if this is the right place to ask but im having problems, iv downloaded loads of diffent programs to download vids from youtube and the 1 im trying to use at the moment is mpeg streamclip, it dose the picture ok but no sound and iv had this same problem with all of them. please help

    TRy downloading Perian to extend Quicktime's codec support, that might get the sound working

    it hasnt worked, still no sound.

    I use the Firefox add-on Fast Video Downloader, all my YouTube vids have sound

    that seems to have done the trick but now the converter seems to topped working every time
