I have a home DVD my friend made of our kids and i ripped it onto my macbook since i didnt have any dvds, i was wondering if theres another/better burning program (thats free, i dont feel like dropping 80$) where i can simply drag and burn???

Im new to this so if im missing some other part of iDVD dont laugh at me.

Why make it complicated?
Just use the inbuilt Mac OS copy dvd to image then burn image.
Burning a disk image file on a CD or DVD in Mac OS X
