I have both cable and Direct TV (don't ask) and I'm thinking about possibly using my DTV box as a source for my EyeTV unit. So I'm curious about how this works... do I have to have the box and its remote handy to change channels, or will I see a DTV Guide on my iMac screen and be able to mouse-control which station I want to view? Also, my DTV box has built-in tivo, so if I'm recording a game, do I record it on the DTV box or my Mac?
I'd be curious to hear from users who are actually using a DTV box with the EyeTV. And thanks in advance! Mike • Without Curiosity, Intelligence Is Nonexistent • Aging Grandpa drives a Supercharged Ford SVT Lightning & Mini Cooper-S Turbo |
