Hi peeps
I am new to mac, and wondered if anyone can help?
I am having problems opening wmv links on several social network sites, when I click on the wmv icon to view the clip it opens in another browser but its just a page of symbols and the file extension seems to have changed to .unk.
I have down loaded flip4mac but I still get the same result, does anyone have any thoughts?

Cheers

I'm not fat, I'm just short for my height

UNK means an unrecognised filetype. So chances are they are either badly named files or more likely attempts to distribute windows malware

fortunately, if they are windows executables, OS X will simply ignore them
