OK. I just finished editing a short film I made and wanted to use some music I downloaded from iTunes. However, FCP won't let me import purchased songs. Is there a way around this? I used to be able to burn songs to a CD and re-import them to iTunes then I could do whatever I wanted. Now I can't do jack. Can anyone help me out? (Oh, I'm also having the same problem with garage band)

I don't know. I have always been able to do it that way. Are you importing the CD as an Aiff? How familiar are you with FCP? What is the process you've been trying. Did this start with iTunes8?
