Can it be done? I've got a .iso here, with Video_TS and Audio_TS folders in it and no idea what to do with it or how to convert it into the .avi I was expecting. Any ideas?

If I'm not mistaken, VisualHub can convert DVD to .avi. I haven't bought the software yet but it will change any format to another format.

I downloaded it yesterday and used the sample and converted an .avi file to a DVD and was able to watch it on a standard dvd player. You may want to check it out.

Mount the ISO in Disk Utility and encode it with HandBrake.

There is no system but GNU and Linux is one of its kernels.
