Burning Raw Footage To Dvd For Future Editing
Can someone tell me how to take my camcorder tapes (original taping) and burn it onto dvd to give to someone so they can edit it themselves. I believe they will be using a PC. Thanks,

Use iMovie to import from the tape which will create .dv files. You or the PC person will likely have to convert to a similar AVI file.

The files sizes may be too large for a DVD, but Toast can span large files over multiple discs. At least for Macs. Check the specs for Windows compatibility.
