    Video But No Sound
I downloaded a DVDRip of Sleepless In Seattle but there is no sound when I try to watch it. It is a .avi file, and Quicktime told me I may need to download a codec to make it work but it didn't tell me which one. I tried reopening the file but the error message won't appear again.

    Anyone know what to do?

    Thanks!

VLC is a must app just to have, it will try (and usually succeed) in playing ->any<- video file.

but, just to warn you, pirating things is against the forum rule and you can get into trouble, just try to keep that part to yourself.
