hi,

I'm trying to watch a .flv video I downloaded. I know people use VLC usually but mine doesnt do it. When I try to open it it says "mpeg_system: unable to determine stream type".
So I downladed FLV-Viewer 04. Problem is, this application doesnt even lauch. Besides it comes in a funny format, .osx. Call me ignorant but ive never seen it.
Any suggestions?

thanx

I use the Perian plug in for Quicktime. So far it's played every FLV I have tried with it. Just be sure the it has the .FLV extension on the video.

Try the VLC Media Player 0.8.6h http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/14738

I've never had a problem playing flv files. Good luck.
