Issue with converting MPG to MP4

I upgraded to quicktme pro and for some reason when i try to export and mpg music video to a mp4 to use on my apple ipod i get no sound....any suggestions ?

Use iSquint, I have the same problem with pro hopefully there will be an update soon.
