Can I restrict web cam use?I am a teacher with 14 brand new imacs in my lab. Is it possible to restrict the use of the built in web cam with a password or something? Although the cam has some great educational uses it tends to be quite distracting and wastes a great deal of student learning time.

You could use the Parental controls for each account and restrict access to iChat and Photobooth, and other apps if needed. Leopard (10.5) has this ability, I can't recall if Tiger does.
CameraTime - Time lapse photography for novice and advanced users.
