ever since my initial endeavor into after effects I've noticed more and more what commercials are made with AE. Intros to movies, DVD commercials, tv shows. I was wondering what other apps are industry standards in making professional commercials. And could anyone give an example (like a youtube link) to what app was used to make that specific commercial.

any help would be great, also if anyone would like to see what 2 weeks of after effects got me just ask and I'd be glad to send you a link

At a guess I would say Final Cut Express or maybe Final Cut Studio Pro. There's also LiveType which is a specialist application for animated titles.

I have not got round to using any of these myself but I know they are out there and that they are all very god at what they do.
QUOTE Thanks
