I'm new to the whole Mac thing. Whenever I try to share a video it comes up with a "lib3ivxEnc.dylib error" or a "3ivx error". I was wondering what I need to do to be able to export my iMovie videos. Thanks.

Sounds like you installed some third party codec. Maybe also try their forum. I would look at removing to first try to get iMovie exporting again.

When asking questions, post the version of your software. You'll receive better answers.

Is there a way to get rid of it?

It likely is in your top level drives /Library/QuickTime/ and has a name extension of component. Drag that to the trash. I'm guessing since I removed that crud when it gave me some issue with QuickTme. Yes you could say I wasn't impressed.

Thank you SO MUCH! I'm making a video for my mom's radio station and I couldn't export it. I really appreciate you helping me out.
