imovie 3 problem

i cant seem to export a movie to my JVC Mini DV camcorder.

when i try, it tells me the connection was lost and to check my camera connections connections.

anyone know how i can fix this?

what kind of camera? have you tried deleting the preferences to imovie, or repairing permissions?
