does anyone know how to achieve the effect of slowly zooming in on a photo in Final Cut Pro? basically, just adding a photo to the timeline and somehow making it seem like the camera is zooming in on that photo.

this effect is often used in documentaries.

any ideas?

It's called the Ken Burns Effect. I don't know how to do it in FC. iMovie does it automatically. You can then adjust it to zoom to where ever you want.

The L.A. Final Cut Pro User Group has a tutorial on it. They have many good tutorials.
