hi
i just got a macbook pro, and I 've been having problems with itunes 9.0.2 when trying to sync my ipod (8G), although my macbook recognises it, it doesn't open in itunes, so I cannot add/play music. I never had this problem before and I have tried some of the advice I read in other posts, but nothing seems to work. any ideas? thanks
Once you have done some troubleshooting steps, it helps if you tell us what they are so you are not asked to do the same thing again.
The first and easiest thing to try is to "QUIT" iTunes (not just minimize it) and re-open it. Worked for me just a couple of days ago.

I tried quitting itunes first but it didn't work. Then I put ipod in disk mode but still nothing. I just noticed that when opening the ipod folder, ipod control application doesn't work, there is an error -43 . I don't even know what that is,or if it makes any difference, but maybe you can help?
If the iPod is working besides not connecting to iTunes, try reinstalling the latest version of iTunes.
