Fring

I really am surprised no one has posted more about this free application. I just wanted to spell somethings out, first the app can indeed be used to make wifi calls for free from the iphone and ipod touch 2g "there are a couple limitations". I have only tried it off my home wifi network, which runs off a DSL connection and found there to be about a 2-3 second delay. This delay is annoying but the app is still useable. What experience have others had with the delay? I am really hoping the delay is only due to my network running slow...Any fed back or other experience with this would be much appreciated.

Really? I have had to make several attempts before connecting but it has always connected in the end. I just haven't had the opportunity to use it on a wireless network that wasn't my own. I am hoping that the delay is due to my slow network, also the people I call report that they eco every word they say...this makes the application almost not useable. I hope they improve it because it is an ingenious idea and great way to keep the minutes down.
