i bought an ipod touch from a guy off of craigslist and it had the $20 software upgrade on it already. if i were too format the ipod touch, would i have to purchase the upgrade again since iv never done so with my account on itunes or does it go by serial of the ipod touch. the guy never registered the touch, so i did under my name. thanks for your help
