hey i accidentally put my brand new Nano through the wash the other day, i took it out let it sit for like 2 days then plugged it in and it works fine now but the back light is dead and the entire ipod shuts off when i disconnect it from a power source. I was wondering if i could just take it to a apple store to get them to do a battery replacement or would that be worth it since the back light doesn't work either?

I suggest you let it dry a couple of more days.
