Has anyone heard anything about there being an update to the iPod touch to be able to actually use the calendar feature rather than just view only. I as I assume many others would like the ability to add a new event. You can add a new contact, but cannot add a calendar event, kind of lame.

There's isn't anything confirmed as of yet, but there is always the possibility of Apple including it in a future update.

There IS, however, a third-party fix, but I can't give you any details on how to acquire it as that would be in violation of forum rules.
