I bought my iPod (2nd gen) on 23rd October last year, can I take it to an Apple Premium Reseller (not an official Apple store, since we don't have them here) to have it fixed/replaced?Another stain on the sidewalk.

I sent an earlier iPod direct to apple for replacement it was no hassle at all . Try their support pages . You'll need your serial number it's on the back of your iPod
