Hi, im frm the uk and planning on buying an ipod touch asap, but first a question

I am buying the new touch for a couple of reasons

1. i have been holding off buying an ipod for the past two years as i knew this ipod was coming (this will be my first ipod)

2. Im a geek and love tech the touch screen interface is amazing

3. It is an amazing music/video play that alone is enough to make me buy the touch

4. i can use it as an internet tablet (this makes the touch more than amazing)

my question relates to point number 4, when i go on line using safari will i be able to watch flash video using the touch, sites such as http://webbalert.com/2007/09/september-27th.html and
http://video.allthingsd.com/

or will these not work due to the browser not having flash support

It would be amazing if i could take the touch anyware in my house and what my latest online videos

Thanks for your advice and replies in advance

Hi there, I happen to be in exactly the same position as you, soon to purchase this iPod, never purchased an iPod previously, and after a bit of research I found out that currently, the iPod's web-browser (safari) does not support flash.

The iPhone also does not support flash, but sources report that it will be added to this device (and most probably the iTouch) asap.

I'm sure they will release flash for this iPod as it would make it so much more useful!

Hope this helps
