I tried using Handbrake with the settings for the IPod video just with a larger output size. Unfortunately, when I try to import it to the IPod Touch it says it can't read the movie. Does anyone know how I can get my dvds onto my IPod touch?

Thanks in advance!

I do not have an iPod Touch, however movies converted with Handbrake (Apple TV profile) play nice on my iPhone... so that might work for you as well...

MacBook Pro, 2.2 GHz, 2 GB RAM, Tiger 10.4.x

Download the latest version of Handbrake and use the iPhone profile. Once the ripping is done, drag the finished video into the Movies section in iTunes. Then plug in your touch, go to the Movies tab, check the movie you just imported, and then hit Apply.
