iPod - iPlug with 80g ipod classic

i just got the new 80g ipod classic and i have a xdvd710 dual head unit in my car and i have the iplug and it worked great with my 30g ipod video but now it wont connect with the ipod classic, does anyone have the same issue or know if the new ipod arent compatible with old ipod products??

I have looked for some cables for my classic and I found most cables and accessories don't work with the classic.

I suggest calling apple and asking which product they recommend
