I have 25 GB of video on my ipod and today my macbook HD filled up....

I was stupid and deleted the video from itunes before setting the ipod to manual mode.

Any way for me to set this thing to manual before itunes erases all my videos the next time i plug up for a charge??????

Download Floola or some other ipod software, and you can manually drag and drop videos and music files. Only I'm not sure if your iTunes automatically pops up when pluggin in the iPod....

You can hold down  and option while you dock your iPod. That's supposed to temporarily disable auto-sync.
