Anybody out there have any idea (or insight) into the possibilities of a new ipod this year?

September seems to be a month that figures prominently in pod history but I am wondering if the iphone is taking up all of Apples resources right now.

Personally with such a paltry memory and no proper keyboard the iphone whilst it looks great is no solution for me a new video ipod though would be. I have found my 5g pod more useful for movies/TV shows than I ever thought possible and choose it over the my larger screen PSP every time. A new version with a larger screen and maybe even built in wi-fi for itunes would sure be interesting, same size as the current pod but with the screen taking up the whole front of the unit.

I love Apple announcements. The Build up to them is great, and there is such a hype while the event is going on.

6PM UK time. You will be able to find several websites which will give live text feeds of the event such as macworld and engadget.
