    That's using a Windows Formatted iPod to transfer files. In the end you will be asked to convert the iPod to Macintosh format.

    To answer the question, No. A Macintosh formatted iPod can not be read by a PC. A Windows formatted iPod can be read from both a PC and a Mac however.
