I think my ipod is broken.

Whenever I try to update it I get the error "Disc: IPOD could not be read / written to". I have tried restoring it to it's default settings but that has not worked.

Is the HD of the ipod screwed, or has anyone experienced this problem and fixed it??
QUOTE Thanks
