iirc AT&T has an exclusive 5-year contract with Apple for the iPhone, so it's not going anywhere. Even if the hackers manage to get it to use any SIM on the market, you're still limited to GSM carriers like T-Mobile and Cingular since Verizon uses a CDMA network.

5 years yes. I was a verizon customer and I switched to ATT, I have to say that the calls are clearer and I a much better signal.

I was just wondering because im moving to miami soon and i want an iphone and i wasnet sure of how good at&t is...

same here i switched from verzion i'm seeing much better signals with at&t
