Wi-Ex zBoost XY500-CEL cell phone signal extender

CNET gives it an 8.6 (they only gave the iPhone an 8.0!)

Pricing: (all models support GSM networks)
$249.99 - 800mhz (824-894mhz, Cellular)
$249.99 - 1990mhz (1850-1990mhz, PCS only)
$359.99 - Dual-band

The iPhone is Quad-band (850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz). Interesting...

if you want to get one of these for your home you need to find out what what your local carrier is broadcasting near your home. some areas are 850 and 1900 on the same tower, some are 850 only or 1900 only, some have all 4, but what you get at your home may be different than 10 miles away.

lots of phones are quad band capable these days
