removing details from i pod

I would like to give my old I pod shuffel to a friend.

However I would like to remove my personal details on the ipod.

How do i do this

Restoring it should do the trick. You should see an option to restore under the ipod menu while it's plugged in.

Yes, you can restore it, and it will erase all the information on it including the songs.
