I'm getting the error -54 when syncing.

As outlined here:

http://discussions.apple.com/thread....readID=1016549

And according to a poster on there:

Quote:
I spent 45 minutes on the phone with Apple Support today (40 minutes on hold and 5 with a rep).

Basically, this is a known software error in iTunes 7.3 and no, if you've done everything we've tried in this thread, they don't have any other sugestions and we just have to wait for the newest patch. And no, they don't have a release date for that.

What I am going to do tonight (my mac book is home and I am not) is remove 7.3, reload 7.2, and hope that fixes the problem.
I've searched everywhere online, with no luck.

Would anybody on here still running iTunes 7.2 be willing to upload it to a file sharing service?

There is a wb site that was keeping older iTunes versions available. I'll post the link if I can find it.
