iTUNES & iPOD library change

I sync my iPod vid to my Acer laptop & am planning 2 get a MacBook & then sync my ipod with it.

1. Will I face a lot of hassle or problems if I sync my ipod with the itunes from the Mac?

2. Will I be able to transfer my itunes library from windows to mac without any problems?..(as in will the song name, artist, album etc. in itunes still the same after the transfer?)

1) No

2) Yes. All of that info is kept in the ID3 Tag in the files and will go with them when you copy them.
