this sounds stupid but it has worked for me in the past.. take the head phone that is makin eletrical noises and blow lightly in it.. if that does not work try it again and blow a bit harder.. I am sure there is some sort of high tech reason for this but here is mine.. the material in the ear bud can get loose because of use and volume increase and decrease. if you blow lightly it can move that material back to where it needs to be and it will fix the sound issue.

The headphones that come with the iPod are super-cheap Chinese sweat shop made garbage. It doesn't surprise me in the least that you're having issues already. Even the cheapest set of Sony ear buds are a better choice. Besides, white ear buds scream "I have an iPod on me" and invite would-be thieves.

I never use the iPod headphones either. I used to use my Sony EX-71s, and then I switched to the Shure E3c.
There should be a "none of the above" option in this poll. :-) Cheap Date Show: Real people. Real food. Real date. |

One of the ears on mine starting giving static 3 or 4 weeks after getting it. It was no big deal, because they hurt my ears anyway!

I never liked the iPod headphones, so I switched to the Shure E2Cs. MUCH better. In fact, there's no comparison. It's like a Bentley versus a tricycle :black:
