itunes store connection

hello everyone,

i am trying to connect to the itunes store but it keeps timing out. my internet connection seems to be fine but i just can't seem to connect to the itunes store. i have the latest version of itunes and am using airport to connect wirelessly on my MBP. any suggestions?

i'm new to the world of Mac/itunes so please excuse my ignorance. by the way, this site is great with alot of great info. i'm looking forward to contributing. thanks!

Mac Specs: iMac 20" 2.1 GHz G5 2.5 GB RAM
It could be that the iTunes store has too much traffic? Have you been able to connect before?

I'm a twit when it comes to networking and internet connections. Maybe someone else has a better idea of where the questions should go on this one...

yup..maybe there was alot of traffic. i was just able to get on today. thanks for the replies!
