can an iPod use multiple iTunes libraries?

my daughter has completely different iTunes library then our iMac. if we try to plug her nano into our iMac, it wants to replace her library with ours. is there any way to connect the nano with ours and update a fews songs from our library?

the best way would be to set your ipod to manual update. this is how to do it.
