Hi everyone,
I'm new here.. just posted my first message in the MacBook Pro section, but thought I might as well ask my iPod question too, while I'm here! I've had both an iPod Mini and a 20GB 4G iPod, but a few months ago I decided (after much debating - iPods are so much more attractive!) to buy a new Creative Zen Vision:M, because I'd seen that the video quality was considerably better than on the video iPods. However, this was before the introduction of the 80GB models. Apparently these have improved screens? I was just wondering if anyone has used both a Zen Vision:M and one of the new iPods and can tell me if the video quality is the same/better on the iPod. Now that I'm getting a MacBook Pro I am tempted to switch back to the iPod (although I don't know where all this money is coming from, haha). If no-one has actually seen the video quality on both players, any info on the general quality of video playback on the new 80GB iPods would be much appreciated. Thanks! I think the iPod video is better, because I've seen videos and i own a 30GB iPod Video and it's great. I have about 4 full length movie, a couple of short videos, and about 1GB of music and i still have 25GB left. It's better than any other music/video player out there. BTW, don't change your mind on getting a MBP. I have one and it's the best computer/laptop I have ever owned! Good Luck!

I guess (as always) you just need to "try before you buy" |
