NEW USER: Need help on USB compatability
    I have a Compaq M700 with USB 1.0
My IPOD will not work with 1.0. The IPOD states it needs USB 2.0.

Are there any adapters I can use to to convert 2.0 to 1.0

    Any help will be appreciated

Sorry, there is no conversion. I'm not familiar with that Compaq (whether it is a laptop or desktop) but it is a deskop you could either go out and buy a USB 2.0 PCI card or a Firewire PCI card (if you are doing this Firewire might be better for you) . If you have a laptop, there are firewire cards for your laptop too, not sure if there are USB 2.0 cards but either way you need to add some type of cards on to your computer.

    good luck.
