    iPod Storage question
    Hi Guys
I just got a 30 gig black iPod, I transferred about 4.68 gig of audio (no Video), but is shows as 9.35 on the iPod. I have the iPod set at manual update.
Is this normal? And why? And how to best increase the storage?

P.S the root directory of the iPod has only contacts (two only) and calendar folders, and they are empty. plus a note folder.
do i need to Restore the ipod? and how ?
