Rate a song on the shuffle

I have an iPod Shuffle, and I would like to be able to rate songs as I'm listening to them.

Is there any way to do this? I know it's not mentioned in the manual, but maybe someone has figured out a way to do this?

Or is it impossible?

I don't believe there is a way, especially since you wouldn't be able to see what you're rating it.

You can rate them in iTunes, but not on the Shuffle itself. With no screen, it would be sort of pointless anyway.
