Hey everyone,
Yeah as the subject says my ipod is jacked. It's the 4th gen 20 gig photo one. I tried to follow the instructions on the site and still nothing worked. I believe that these have a one year warranty right? I don't have any of the receipts but I did register it so would that be a way to get something done? Maybe it could be fixed though so any help would be appreciated. Thanks a lot,
Josh

you should be able to just bring it in and have them do their stuff to it or maybe give you a new one if it is still under warantee.

did you try to reset it by toggling the hold switch off then on and then hold down the menu and select buttons?

Does your Mac recognize it even? Plug it in and open the iPod Firmware updater and see what happens.

The shop you take it into will be able to check if it is under warranty by typing in the serial number into a database . Receipts shouldn't be needed.

You can check it yourself on apple's website:

www.apple.com/support/ipod

Just enter your serial number and if it's covered, follow the steps to getting it serviced.
