Hey there,

So i lend my girlfriend my iPod (iPod with colour display) to take in the car with her and it has come back with scratches on the back (metal side).

Just wondering if there is any way to get these scratches out at all?

Regards,

Chris.

i found this artice
on ilounge

i also remember hearing brasso works well for getting out some scratches on the front side of the ipod, not sure how well it works on the back (metal side). can't say my opinion means much as i haven't used either method to get out scratches.

*just doing a little searching on google, seems like there are mixed reviews about using brasso. i'd say use this option with care and @ your own risk...

my apple is bling *tisk tisk, you shouldn't have any bling.. just nice things*

Yeah. I just got a 1Gb shuffle 1 yr+ ago and it is very scratched. iPod means put it in a sock or sumfink. And why does anybody want an iPod > 1Gb? Unless you take a trip round Australia for 10 years? Like a baglady with a shopping trolley metaphor? Train journey max. But how much bass in an iPod? NONE. (Max attenuation on your bass) Mobile bass means /////Alpine system with 15" subwoofers and extra lead acid battery in the trunk. What's wrong with earbud people? Music = bass.

i just keep mine in a plastic case, so the only thing that can get scratched is the menu wheel. i have a rubber DLO case for the mini, and the plastic full cover for my nano
