videos on ipod

How do you put videos on the ipod video???itunes does not recognise any of my videos...how do i convert them so that i can load them into itunes and then on my ipod?is there a program that does it?thank you!

Do a search - it's been covered a few times here:

Basically you can use quicktime pro, iMovie, iSquint, FfMpegX or some other app to convert your file to something iPod video compatible.
