My mum brought an iPod shuffle 1ST generation to listen to on holiday. We know that you can charge it just by plugging it into the PC/MAC, however how do we charge it on holiday? I have an iPhone3GS and have the mains charger for that (official mains plug with USB connector that usually has the cable plugged into it) and wondered if that would charge the shuffle as well? I dont want to try without asking incase the plug was too high a voltage and ruin the iPod.

Will my iPhone3GS mains plug work with the iPod shuffle 1ST gen?

Apple's website doesn't say that that charger is compatible with the 1st generation shuffle.

It does say that this is though:

Griffin PowerBlock for iPad, iPhone and iPod (2 Amp) - Apple Store (UK)

It was here in Hamburg that the Rutles found themselves far from home, and far from talented.
