Does anyone know why my IPod Touch 4g is saying that iTunes cannot connect?

Whether I am trying to update any apps or get new apps, after I type my password in it says "waiting" under the apps and then something pops up saying cannot connect to iTunes . I've tried turning off my iPod , and turning off my wifi, it just doesn't seem to work. It's been like this for a couple weeks. Can anyone help? Pretty please !

Try manually deleting the apps and then reinstalling them again. you should be able to delete them if they say waiting.
