Was the new video iPod marketed well?

everyone knows about the new ipod, huge word of mouth, but i dont think their marketing was top notch. i know about Steve Jobs launching event and the U2 ad on the apple website, but what else have they done? any print ad caught your attention? i think they could have been more creative/imaginitive in this campaign..

btw sorry if this is in the wrong forum, i wanted to discuss this issue but didnt know her

I don't think they want to advertise much now. They're not even able to keep up with demand at the moment and it will just get worse as the holidays approach.

Apple doesn't want to heavily market a product that won't be available.
