When I plug my iPod in(to any charger), it says it's charging for about 30 seconds, then a yellow triangle with a "!" mark with a message that says " charging is not supprorted with this accessory".

What kind of chargers are you using? What are they rated at? Your Touch draws a fairly heavy amount of current during charging similar to the iPhone.

Here's a link to a third party reseller: LINK Are any of your chargers the same?

the cords are the same, but the thing we plug into the wall is different. we have used one that comes with phones, and one we got 2 years ago, then just the computer, none of them work.

I can only conclude that you're going to need to buy a charger set designed for the iPhone and Touch. I don't know where you live but stores like Target and Best Buy sell them for around $20 or so.
